September Flowers

The cooler air of September seems to agree with my flowers.... Begonias enjoying refreshing rain showers....

I don't remember the name of this one. It was a richer shade of pink in "real life".

Oops, how do these grandkids pop up among the flower pics?
Hmmm, and how did that dog's butt get in the pic???

Fresh, new dahlia just opening; oblivious to the fact that most flowers are fading away...

Well, this dahlia has no intention of fading...

Great batch of photos, Wendy---especially that little cutie pie grandson...

Love that yellow flower the most. You captured it at the perfect lighting. Love the water droplets on it also.

Have a great day tomorrow.
Hugs,
Betsy

Everything looks so refreshed in your garden, Wendy! I'm always envious of those beautiful dahlias; I don't seem to have much luck with them here. Of course, the grandkids' photos fit right in--they're the best blooms of all!

Oh my gosh, I'm pretty sure I never need my own garden so long as you keep posting these awesome pictures! (That might go for kids, too!)

Have a super week!

I just loved the pictures and everything looks so lovely and fresh.
Is that dog of yours having a laugh? Trying to ruin your lovely grandson's photo. Well he didn't succeed did he?
Had to laugh though.

I think the nameless flower is a version of Galliardia.
I'm still giggling about the doggie bum...!

Hey Judy - nice to see you back in the saddle! Thanks for stopping in.

What a beautiful child!! He's just gorgeous!

It's funny how the flowers seem to have one final push before the winter cold claims them.

I think after today, everything is done in our garden. It's so cold and windy and the windchill is supposed to be -3 or something overnight.

Wendy,

I'm late to your party. I've been "away" for soooo long.

I like it here. I like everything about it - the background color, it's simplicity. And, your photos.

I will need to change your address on my blogroll right now.

Hugs,
Mary

I never noticed the pup's posterior until you pointed it out! Very cute--Grandchildren are to be showcased as well as that gorgeous dahlia! All of your blooms are beautiful--but especially Grandson's smile.

Dear Wendy,
Lovly flowers and always the Grandchildren are beautiful!
It is cool this morning at my house. Soon we will have frost and the tender annuals will be over.
I call October, "Season of the Ancients." Hope you have a blessed month.

I must remember to plant some dahlias next season. I saw lots of them when I visited Victoria, BC.
