Conversations.......

"Ahhhhhhh - this is soooooo nice. Being kissed by the sun!"
I overheard my shamrock plant talking to Sunkist tulips: "Did you know St. Paddy's day is just around the corner?"
"How could I not? You remind me every day! I do hope some bluebirds find that birdhouse over there and build a nest inside. I don't remember seeing any last year, did you Tessa?" "We weren't here last year, Tilly."

Why didn't I just ask, a number of my blogger buddies commented on my Pampering post a few posts ago.

Ask what? What kind of nice-smelling massage oil the masseuse was using on me. Good question, why didn't I just ask? Well if I had, then of course, there wouldn't be any story, would there?

But then you have to imagine yourself stretched out on the table. Soft music playing in the background. Body nice and warm under the sheets. Gentle, yet firm pressure over your shoulders by Ms. Massage-Lady ( I don't remember her name). Feeling drowsy........ Ooooo - this is nice. Tension melting away.......Body relaxing............Ummm - nice fragrance. Smells spring-like. No grass-like. No sort of lemony. Ah, who cares........relaxing into table a little more. Oooo.... that.... feels...... good. Where was I? What was I thinking about??? Oh, the music's changed........ where have I heard that piece before? It's sooooo soooooothing....... Sounds familiar..... but where? Ah, who cares........

I think you get the picture. Tooooooo much effort to open the mouth and speak. Or coordinate the brain in the first place ...........to find the words. And even so, I'd probably forget the name of that wonderful smelling massage oil the moment the name left her lips......lips.......did somebody say tu-lips?

Ahhhhh......that warm, caressing sun.....

Hi Wendy, I just overheard your Tulips talking to one another saying: "Gosh, I certainly am glad, Tilly, that our mother doesn't make us go out there in the cold ground and live.. It's much nicer in the warm house!!!! Thanks, Mom!"

Cute post!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

You have influenced me into buying spring plants every other week. I am looking at my tulips and blooming shamrock right now too.

Lovely tulips!!

Has your snow gone yet? Ours is going and I'm able to pick up HUGE amounts of dog poo!! A winters worth actually as I can't pick it up in the winter. I usually get about forty bags!!

Wendy, tulips and warm sun-can spring be far behind? But then the snow in the background makes it a little hard to visualize. :)

I used to get massage therapy once a week. I looked forward to that hour all week long. Reading the description of yours sure made me long to have another one.

Hope you are doing well-any more news on the book?

Ahhhhhhhh! There is something so relaxing to be basking in the warmth of the sun. It has been warm here this past week and I have spent every moment I could steal away, out in the garden, sometimes just sitting in the sun doing nothing but feeling that warm caressing sun. Lovely post Wendy.

Hi Betsy, thanks for telling me. I'll listen carefully from now on. LOL!

Hi Hilary - they do! Thank-you.

Hi Ruth - oh, spring flowers are so pretty and uplifting! Thank-you.

Amelia - 40 bags of dog poo? I hope it's tiny lunch-sized bags and not huge garbage bags. LOL! We still have snow, but it's melting!

Hi Beckie- I also tried to get regular massages, but somehow don't find the time. I'm trying to change that. About the book - I've signed the contract and am now doing some more editing. It's a slow process, but thanks for asking.

Hi Maggie - thank you for popping by.

Hi Shammickite - LOL! Time to go for a massage.

Hi Bev, they're pretty cheap here. Did not know you could buy any in Florida. I thought it was a cold weather flower since the bulbs have to freeze. But then we can buy tropical flowers here.

Hi Jen, so nice to get out in the garden.

I love the contrast between the tulips and the snow. For me, it's shocking. I'm glad you did not ask...you were present in the moment. **blows kisses** Deb
