Just as the soft rains......

 fill the streams,
pour into the rivers,
and join together into the oceans,

So may the Power of
every moment of your Goodness,
flow forth to awaken and Heal all beings,
 those here now,
those gone before,
those yet to come.... (beginning of a Buddhist prayer)
I love to try to capture Sunlight...

as it illuminates each flower and leaf.

But you can never really capture the essence of the Sun.

The cycle of Life continues.....
as once again, the Sun warms the Earth for a time of renewal....

Happy Birthday, dear David.
Though your Earthly life is done, I continue to feel your blessings, and pray you feel mine.

Hi Wendy, Beautiful flowers.. Hope you will have some spring soon --and can see beautiful flowers OUTSIDE also.

I know it's a hard day for you--but David is smiling down on you I'm sure.

Back from vacation --trying to catch up a little!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

What perfect flowers and the light is so beautiful.
I love the contrast of these pampered bulbs with the outdoor picture of the shoots struggling through the cold earth!

Lovely, Wendy. Your view of life is always inspiring to me. Your David's birthday is shared by my older son.

A beautiful prayer, Wendy. Your pots of purple and yellow look so cheery on the windowsill; a perfect place to sit and reflect and soak up a few of the sun's warming rays.

Indeed the cycle continues...I think of spring as a way, too, to remind us that we are all joined in this cycle of life, those that have gone before us and those still to come. We are all united with Mother Earth. I hope you had a happy day, filled with warm memories of David.

Hi Wendy, just to let you know I have emailed several times and now have the same problem on both addresses.
I will continue to try but if you do not hear from me, you know the reason.

Thinking of you always
Cheryl

Dear Wendy,
Hugs, dear heart. Holding you in my thoughts and prayers.
The snows will melt and Spring will turn to Summer and Autumn to Winter and David will always be in your heart. Happy birthday to your love of your life.
Namaste,
Sherry

Beautiful photos. I always love the way the sun shines on everything in a really bright way at this time of the year.
I love light and shade in photos and you have captured this very well.

Birthdays and anniversaries in the first year are always hard to bear but I loved the way you wrote this post. Very moving.
