Moving on......

Good-by front door.....

...autumn flowers, leaves, pumpkins....

Good-by Our Home.... (I've lived here 15 years)

.....and our garden shed in the back yard...

Our favourite room...David spend his last days here before hospital admission. His favourite chair brings me comfort in the evenings as I curl up in it to read....

House is sold.
The new young couple will be moving in early December.
Time for me to start packing......
I will miss Our Home......

Such a beautiful home. I know you will be missing it. As you know, I, too, will be leaving my home of 15 years, and although not really mine, it holds so many memories. Blessings my friend.

beautiful picturesque home...but it's just a house now. Take your wonderful memories with you and think of it fondly as the place you made a life in with your hubby. Best wishes on your new life and new home. take care.

Although it will be a sad time to leave your home, it is just a house.. home is your love and memories. I have followed your blog for quite a while and reading back this morning brought tears to my eyes. Be happy where ever you move to, you have your family around and new memories to make.
Every Blessing

It's a beautiful home, Wendy and it will remain as such in your memories. I understand how difficult it must be to say "goodbye." Hugs to you.

I'm looking forward to seeing your new space.

Although I know it will be hard to leave a home with so many memories, I admire you, Wendy, for moving on and taking positive steps in your life. Your memories will still be with you, no matter where you live. May you find happiness in your new home, too.

A beautiful home and I'm sure you will miss it. However, I'm sure an equally good one awaits you somewhere else.
Looking forward to reading about it and seeing pictures. It is an exciting time.

Dear Wendy,
I have tears....saying goodbye is never easy. Somehow you have been able to honor your still small voice and do what is best for you. You are amazing!
You have taught me so very much about loving and letting go. Thank you.
You are leaving your home filled with loving energy....the young couple that is moving in will be safe and happy.
I send you energy and laughter. I send you hugs. Thank you for being my friend.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Wendy,

A beautiful home and with stunning surroundings. For me it is the woodland at the back of your home that is the most breathtaking.
Material possessions are just the shell.....the heart of a home is the people that live within.
Your relationship with David and all the wonderful memories will travel with you.
A young couple will feel the love within the walls, I am sure they will be so very happy there.

Give yourself time Wendy......all will be well. Know I always think of you. I may not be in touch as often as I would like but I always hold you in my thoughts and blessings.......

Love and light
Cheryl

As you may remember, I sold my big house last year, and got rid of a lot of "stuff" that I had accumulated over the 32 years that I lived there. And I am so happy that I did it. I still have memories, some happy and some not so happy, but it was the right thing to do. And you will be sad at leaving, but I think it is the right thing to do for you too.
And now you can get excited about moving to a new location.

Friday night
Wendy...I came back to post again because the first day that I read your blog, I cried...and I didn't really know what to say. I still don't...but I knew that I needed/wanted to come back and write to you again and let you know that I'm thinking of you. You've had so much to face...and to leave your home is another sadness. I'm praying that your new home will bring you joy...and like Maggie May, I look forward to seeing photos...hearing/reading about it, and smiling with you as new memories are made.
I'm thinking about you....and I wanted you to know.
Love,
Jackie
