Houses speak...

...and stairs creak...

And strange little doors lead nowhere...

This gentle giraffe.. enjoys a good laugh...

While Kitty peeks out from his lair

All is packed up. Kitty has gone to the farm. See you all at my new home...

Hi Wendy, So you are moving??? Are you scaling down? George and I got rid of so much stuff when we married and moved into this house. I miss some of my old stuff---but it was really neat to scale down some...

Good Luck with your move ---and be sure and show us some pictures of your new home.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Wendy
You are moving? You are taking these pictures with deep emotion, I wonder? You must be busy but take good care of yourself and enjoy new life at new house.

Is Kitty coming back when you've settled in?

I'll be helping Son and Daughter-in-law move next week; well, actually I'll probably be doing more babysitting than moving things:) Theirs is the opposite of our dilemmas, though--they need to "upsize" for a growing family instead of downsizing.

I hope everything goes smoothly with your move, Wendy, and I wish you much happiness in your new home.

Gotta love those hard woods...beautiful. Moving is painful work. Good choice on sending cat to the farm.
I sense you are an organized person - that has to be a useful trait for a move. Remember..delegate. That's my motto when it comes to moving.

Am curious to learn what you've chosen?
If hubby does not pull through his operation I will have to make many changes. Let's hope for the best.
I have no grandkids but Buddy will be there. Gotta keep strong!!

Moving. Ah! I did that last year. It was tough but I'm so glad I did it. I hope you'll be telling us all about your move soon. Meanwhile..... have a good Christmas. It will be a different Christmas without your husband.... but you'll be OK, believe me.
