"My Grandma lives in a condor," says Granddaughter importantly to her school friend.
A condor? I had to stop and think for a minute. Isn't that a dinosaur?
I googled "condor" and found out it was a new world vulture.
Hmmmmm....I knew that.
Well inside my
condor I have an indoor garden.
Come and see....
|
Evening - the light is softer, caressing the flowers in my garden |
|
Let's move in a little closer for a better look |
I'm always excited to see the first signs of new life...
|
My orange hibiscus rewards me with a bud. She must love the south facing sunny window |
|
First tiny goldfish bloom. Spring must be around the corner, even though it's freezing outside |
|
Shhhhhh, crocus buds are sleeping. |
|
|
Ahhhhh, the magic of sunshine | | |
|
Hello? Anybody out there? |
|
Nope, the street is empty and so is the lake. Good- bye |

Nice view - looks a bit cold. Flowers in winter, that's a better trick than I could muster. I do also wonder what that tulip type flower is looking at... Oh yeah the view. Duh!
Love your inside garden, Wendy... That Daffodil bloom is gorgeous.... Bet you love the flowers up there --where it is so cold... Enjoy that new condor!!!! ha
Great header.
Hugs,
Betsy
You're growing Spring! That's so comforting to see.
When my son was little, his grandparents lived in a condom.
Oh, oh, how I love this. I've got a south facing window too and have been wondering if I should force some bulbs! I had my orchid there, though, and the sun burned the leaves. Now, I don't know what to do! You're photos of the indoor garden are great!
Oh it's so nice to see a little spot of colour in all that white! Spring...*sigh*
Wow, it's so white!!! We don't have white where I live. Your plants are bloomin' gorgeous.xx
p.s love the people living in a condom....priceless.
You have the magic of spring growing in your new condor :)
I love the things kids come up with.
Your indoor garden in condor looks like warm, cosy, relaxable as outside is so white.
They will give you peace,contentment.
I also like flowers.
Enjoy weekend!
Oh, I can't wait to start my garden. I've never lived in a building before, always on the first floor of a house with a back yard, so indoor gardening is new to me. Your garden is so beautiful. I am so excited.

Out of the mouths of babes:) All your blooms are so pretty and cheery, Wendy. Your sunny window is the perfect place for this indoor garden.
Love your little indoor garden. Everything looks very healthy.
A bit cold outside though! Stay warm.

Great little garden, although its cold with all the snow I love the special kind of light that comes with winter light reflecting off the snow. And everything looks so clean.
Dear Wendy,
Your indoor garden is lovely. I too have south facing windows and my indoor garden thrives in the winter. I am growing rosemary in large planter boxes. Clipped some for our soup today.
I am so happy you have buds on the hibiscus. Flowers brighten January. The crocus are charming and the daffodil made me smile. Thank you.
The promise of Spring is right in your living room!
It is cold and drab here today. I did a little spinning at the spinning wheel and dreamed of Spring.
Stay warm.
Namaste,
Sherry
Your condor is bright and beautiful and I love the windows and the view.
Dear Wendy,
Hope....your lovely blooms bring hope, we await Spring with much anticipation, waiting for what is to come.
Crocus is very sweet.....I grow them in my garden and then the birds peck them. Why is that, I wonder??
Love seeing your pretty display, may it greet you with sunshine each day until the Spring arrives.
Love and light
I think this means that Spring is on the way.... or at least it is in your house, er, I mean condor.
How bright and beautiful your indoor garden is on a dreary winter's day. I bet it just thrills your heart!
Thanks for sharin' it with us sweetie.
God bless your week!!! :o)
'Just droppin' by to wish ya a great day! :o)
Wendy what a wonderful way to chase the winter blues away with having your indoor garden!Flowers always make the heart feel lighter!
Before we decided to trek to AZ for our winter escape that is what I would do. Pick a sunny spot in our house and fill it with bulbs and colored pots of flowers and each bud that blossomed lifted my spirits..I always suffered from SAD
but here in the sunshine state I look out at the sun shining brightly against the bluest sky every day!
waving and giving you hugs! Anna
I adore your indoor garden! What a great way to cheer up a snowy day!
It is a very precious little garden.
