Their bright colours spruce up the gray-blue water of the Lake.
Time to go back! Already? But they just got out!
Well, not really, I'd had time to eat breakfast, wash the dishes and take a shower before these hearty kayakers returned to home base.
The air was still cold when I took these pics, so these brave souls must have been freezing out there on the water.
It was nice for me to watch safe and warm in my living room while they took their first run of the season.

It's beautiful. Oh how lucky you are to look out over a lake. I tried hard to get a view of the ocean, but there was absolutely nothing available. At least I am close enough that the seagulls pay a morning visit...not always a welcome sound on a weekend when I can sleep, but a beautiful sight to see soaring across the sky. LOL!!!

Oh, how wonderful! Is that really the view from your window?? I would love that. I would definitely prefer to watch from the living room than to actually be on the water though ;-)
We have had some very wild weather here after a prolonged drought. Driving rain and high winds today which brought down my lovely, very old Lilac tree. It will take days to clear it :-( Then earlier tonight we had a power cut just to complete a rather unlovely day!
Hello Wendy! Glad to know that the snow has melted. Water views are always fun to watch and you have such a wonderful view of the lake.
I just got back from a lovely holiday with my sister and her children. The trip came about because my sis wanted to pray on the banks of the Ganges for her husband. It was such a touching moment...After that was over we travelled across the northern part of the country, a place that is so different from where we live. It was wonderful!
Take care, Wendy. You're often in my thoughts!
Hi Wendy, You have an amazing view from your new home... I'd be looking out of the window ALL of the time...
Bet those kayakers were quite cold out there .. BUT--I'm glad you finally have some SPRING up there.
Hugs,
Betsy
Hi Wendy,
So pleased to see you posting again, was starting to get a little concerned about you.
Hope you are well ?
Beautiful views from your window.....
I am a watcher of people....I love sitting outside at a cafe, with a nice cup of coffee and watch the people come and go.
Have a good week :)
Lovely to watch such a cold activity from the warmth of your home.

Wendy, you have such a great view from your home. I'm very much looking forward to living on a lake sometime soonish. Fine captures of the kayakers. Happy spring! :)
I love the view from your window, Wendy. So good to see the frozen lake has finally thawed and that spring has come for you, too. Kayaking looks like so much fun and such a pleasant way to spend the morning, but I would definitely prefer to stay in my warm living room, too:)
Hi Wendy
I'm glad to see your post again.
It's wonderful to be able to see their active view from your living room.
Spring has come in your place and in my place cherryblossom was over and many flowers are in full bloom.
Enjoy spring!
Hi Wendy, how lovely to see water from your window each day. Good to hear from you, how are you doing after this long winter?
Hi, Wendy,
I love the photos. Did you have a very cold winter? Being here in Florida, it was one of the warmest that we've had. Our spring has been divine. Summer is coming though...it will be interesting to see how it is.
Always good to see your posts.
Dear Wendy,
Your view is gorgeous....
I bet you will have all sorts of birds this summer.
The Hummers and the Monarchs have returned. I am in bliss.

They obviously just couldn't wait to get out there and begin their spring!!!
Yep, I'm happy you could watch from the warmth of your livin' room too!
I hope your spring days are beautifully blessed sweetie! :o)
'Just checkin' in to see how your doin' sweetie.
Have a fantastically blessed day! :o)
To celebrate being alive is to appreciate all that is as a reflection. Everything is a miracle, including the phenomena of a lake, a tree, river, a human being, and the simple breath that connects us with the essence and energy of everything. You can choose to appreciate where you are and choose to see beauty for it is always in the eye of the beholder.
